Fear is a major factor which DE-motivates the person emotionally. It builds up a negative complex within the individual. It may be a public speaking, a new job, dancing or an exam fear. Some people avoid these situations that might lead to stress but it’s hard to break its track. The more you practice the more you will tend to overcome the stress.
You can always combat psychological stress which may shorten the duration of stressful life. It depends upon the person to rule it out completely. Identifying those things that we can control and those that we cannot, could help to prevent daily hassles and build up our own style of living.
